June Favorites

Hey guys, it’s Bun! I know it’s already July I’m a little late with these but I finally did my June favorites! I’m so excited for the Fourth of July to come around. Anyways here are all the things I was grabbing for in the month of July!

My first go to item for June was my Nivea Lip Butter. In the summer you have to have a good lip moisturizer and this one literally is amazing. A little goes a long ways it keeps your lips hydrated for a couple hours, it goes on smooth and creamy, and has an amazing smell. I love this little guy and he is almost out so I will be repurchasing another in the near future.

Second I have found myself reaching for more spring time colors this summer than summer colors. The Sally Hanson nail polish in barracuda is a beautiful baby blue. It is creamy and opaque and I find myself working it into any manicure I do.

Also from that same line I have also been using I lilac you consistently as well. No matter what nail look I do I find that either of those two colors find their way back to my nails. They are bright and opaque and I just can’t help but love them!

Herbal Essences Hello Hydration shampoo and conditioner have been my must have. They smell like coconut which is my favorite and they make my hair feel like I’ve left a salon every time I get out of the shower. The shampoo lathers so nicely and leaves my hair feeling clean and e conditioner softens my hair without feeling heavy or greasy. This duo is perfect for the summer!

Speaking of the shower, the Aveeno Active Naturals Skin Relief Shower and Bath Oil is to die for. At forts thought and glance it is a typical oil. It is liquidly and seems almost heavy when you first get it in your hand but the smell is amazing. It has camomile and jasmine so it is very calming before bed. Once the oil is mixed with water the heaviness of the oil disappears. It lathers like a soap would and coats your skin making it feel moisturizer. I use this as a shaving oil because it is gently and helps keep my skin from getting irritated. It would also be nice in a bath before bed because is it very soft and the smell is just amaaazingg!

Let’s get into face products! That’s the best part!
Aveeno’s Active Naturals Clear Complexion Cream Cleanser is another product to die for. I have oily skin that is prone to acne. A lot of face washes are extremely heavy make my skin red and irritated after use and don’t seem to show any result in the end. This product isn’t like that! It is very light and gentle yet really cleans out my pores and make my face feel fresh and new everytime I use it. The best part is it does contain salicylic acid for acne and ever since I began using this I’ve noticed my acne clearing up and less break out appearing. There are little micro beads to help scrub and they get rid of all impurities in the skin. This product is my favorite and I will not use any other face wash since I found this one. Do not hesitate to but this if you see it at the store. You won’t regret it!!

Next is my favorite foundation- Covergirl’s TruBlend foundation. It is so beautiful for the summer. It gives medium coverage it has a natural finish and holds all through the day. I have really oily skin and normally mattes are the only foundations I can wear and not look all greased up but this foundation looks so natural on my skin. I could just wear this foundation to even out my skin tone and wear no other makeup on my face and you wouldn’t be able to tell I had it on. You would just think it was my natural bare face. It blends perfectly into the skin and gives just enough coverage to make you look flawless. It is my number one foundation.

In the summer everyone wants that beautiful natural looking glow. Physician formulas powder palette mineral glow pearls in beige pearl gives the perfect glow that looks natural and subtle. You can build it up to look brighter or you can keep it simple and add just a little hint of glow. I use this everyday. I use it alone or I will mix it in with whatever blush I choose to wear that day to give me a beautiful natural glow. It is my holy grail must have product!

In the summer I love a good natural neutral eyeshadow look. My Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette has so many neutrals it gives me so many looks to choose from it is my must have summer palette. There are a few brighter colors to help make the look pop or you can just stick with a neutral eye and never run out of looks when using this palette.

You always have to have mascara! My mascara favorite of the month is Physicians Formula Glam Green Eyes custom eye enhancing mascara duo. I came across this mascara by accident. I had picked up a set that had eyeshadows eyeliner and the mascara in it. When I tried it I nearly died. It is so amazing. It is a wet formula and the brush is simply amazing. It gives great separation, length, and volume! There is another side with a brush that is smaller and it does the lower lashes with ease. I haven’t used another mascara since I’ve found this. I like it better than my they’re real mascara from benefit.

Lastly I have a few shows and a movie I have been loving this month. I am one of those girls who waits until something comes onto netflix so I can sit and binge watch the whole season in one setting so I usually don’t watch tv shows on time and I am usually super late to jump on the band wagon but lately I have been in love with Orange is the New Black. It cracks me up and is just an enjoyable tv show to watch. I won’t tell you what it is about because I usually spoil things and I don’t want to give away stuff to those who haven’t seen it yet!

My current obsession is Game of Thrones! I just caught up and finished and I am soooo sad there aren’t anymore right now. I will probably re-watch every episode again it was that good. I have been trying to get Hotdoug to watch but he says he isn’t in the mood for it yet. There is no better time then now to watch it. I am in love and will count down the days till it comes out again!!!!

Last but not least I was on Netflix the other day and came across World War Z! Amazing. Zombies have been the thing lately and this movie was absolutely amazing. The quality and performance of this movie could not be better. I recommend all of you who have Netflix stop reading this now, sit your butts on the couch with popcorn and snacks, and watch that movie!!!

Alright guys that was my June favorites. I hope you guys enjoy these products. If you use them let me know what you think and tell me what you guys think or want me to try, maybe they will end up in my July favorites! Bye my lovelies.

I think you're doing a great job so far. Is there a way to make multiple pages? Maybe find a way to space out your themes more so they appear more separated?

I'm currently watching the first season of Orange is the New Black also! I'm also really enjoying it 🙂 I actually don't find the Nivea lip balms to be super hydrating, but I have very dry lips… I ❤ the scent of them though, the macadamia one smells like Kinder chocolate 😀

Hey. Like your picks! Especially that blue for the nails it's really cute. Also obsessed with game of thrones but have finished all of them for this season :/ may have to read the books for a fix…

I love the Herbal Essences Hello Hydration range too! Have you used the deep conditioner from that range? It's honestly the best I've ever come across.
I'm from the UK so it's not easy to get my hands on Physician's Formula – I'm so jealous that you can get it, it looks like they have some great products.
